New - Power Flushing of heating systems
Do you need to vent your radiators frequently? Do your radiators have cold spots? Is your boiler noisy? Are your radiators cold at the bottom? Are your radiators not as hot as they used to? Is your hot water not as hot as it used to be? When you vent your radiators is the water black or orange? Do you want to help prevent pump and boiler heat exchanger breakdowns?
Rust occurs in all central heating systems and produces a black (iron oxide) sludge. This sludge causes radiators to be cold at the bottom due to sludge settling at the bottom of radiators. It also causes radiators to be cold at the top because of gases produced by the sludge and they have to be vented frequently. The sludge also causes cold spots in radiators or even for radiators to be cold all over. It prevents circulation and it blocks pipes.
The sludge also attacks pumps and the heat exchanger in boilers causing them to become noisy and to fail prematurely. Overall the efficiency of the heating system is greatly reduced and fuel wasted
Power flushing can solve these problems, increase the efficiency of your heating system and extend its life.
What is Power Flushing and how does it work?
After draining your heating system, the Powerflush machine is connected to your heating system. Clean water and cleansing chemicals are pumped into your system continuously over a 2 hour period. The chemicals and the force of the pumped water dislodges sludge and rust deposits. The process is continued until all the sludge has been removed and the water runs clear. A chemical Protector is then added to the system after it has been flushed and this keeps the system clean and running efficiently. All in all the process takes 4-5 hours.
